If NES fails to deliver the service you paid for — due to a technical failure, question error, or a test that could not be conducted — you will receive a full refund or test credit, no questions asked. We process all valid refund requests within 5–7 business days.
This Refund Policy applies to all payments made on nationalexamservices.in for per-test purchases and Pro subscription plans. It is governed by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 of India and applicable RBI guidelines for digital payments.
All payments are processed through Razorpay. Refunds, once approved by NES, are initiated through Razorpay and credited back to your original payment method.

When you purchase access to a specific mock test (e.g., JEE Main Mock #18 for ₹49), the following refund rules apply:
ℹ️ Test Credit vs Cash Refund: For per-test purchases where the test has not yet been attempted and the test window has not yet opened, we offer test credits (usable on any future NES test) rather than cash refunds. Cash refunds are issued only when NES is at fault.
The following rules apply to Pro Monthly (₹149/month), Pro 3-Month (₹399), and Pro Annual (₹1,199/year) subscriptions:
If you are unhappy with the Pro plan, we encourage you to contact us at [email protected]. While refunds may not be possible after 24 hours, we will do our best to resolve your concerns.
NES takes full responsibility for technical failures on our end. If any of the following occur during your test, you are entitled to a full refund or a free makeup test (your choice):
⚠️ Device & Internet Issues: Technical failures caused by your own device, internet connection, power outage, or browser do not qualify for a refund. We strongly recommend using a stable broadband connection and a laptop or desktop for all NES mock tests.
To report a technical failure, email [email protected] within 4 hours of the test end time with a description of the issue and any screenshots. Reports received after 4 hours may not be considered.
The following situations are explicitly not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: "Refund Request — [Your Roll Number]"
Your full name, registered email, NES roll number, Razorpay transaction ID (from your payment confirmation email), the test or plan you paid for, and the reason for your refund request.
Our team will review your request and respond within 2 business days. We may ask for screenshots or additional information to verify technical failures.
If approved, we initiate the refund through Razorpay. The amount is credited back to your original payment method (UPI, card, net banking, etc.) within 5–7 business days.
After we initiate the refund, your bank or payment provider may take an additional 3–5 business days to reflect the amount in your account. UPI refunds are typically faster.

You may cancel your Pro subscription auto-renewal at any time:
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have full Pro access until that date. The current period's payment is non-refundable unless you are within the 24-hour cooling-off period and have not attempted any test.
After cancellation, your account will automatically downgrade to the Free plan on the next billing date.
