What is National Exam Services (NES)?
NES is India's most trusted mock test platform for JEE Main, JEE Advanced, and NEET. We conduct mock tests every Sunday at the same time as the real NTA exam — giving you the most authentic exam experience possible. Students get a verified All India Rank (AIR) and percentile after every test.
Who can join NES?
Any student preparing for JEE Main, JEE Advanced, or NEET can join NES — regardless of which coaching institute they attend. We welcome students from Class 11, 12, and droppers.
Is NES affiliated with NTA or any official body?
No. NES is an independent mock test platform. We are not affiliated with NTA, IITs, or any government body. Our tests are designed to simulate the real exam pattern and difficulty as closely as possible based on official NTA guidelines.
How do I sign up?
Click "Sign Up Free" on the top right. Create your account in 2 minutes — just enter your name, email, target exam, and year. You can also sign up instantly using your Google account.
Is there a mobile app?
Currently, NES is a web-based platform optimized for both desktop and mobile browsers. A dedicated Android and iOS app is in development and will be launched soon. You can bookmark nationalexamservices.in on your phone's home screen for quick access.
What is the Free plan vs Pro plan?
The Free plan gives you access to 2 full mock tests per month with basic results. The Pro plan (₹149/month) gives you unlimited tests every Sunday, full percentile and AIR calculation, detailed solution review, performance analytics, and official PDF scorecard. See our Pricing page for full details.
📝 Mock Tests 7 questions
When are mock tests conducted?
Mock tests are conducted every Sunday. JEE Main tests have two shifts — Shift 1 (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM) and Shift 2 (3:00 PM – 6:00 PM), exactly matching the real NTA exam timings. NEET tests run 2:00 PM – 5:20 PM on Sundays.
How many questions are in each test?
JEE Main: 90 questions — 30 each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Total marks: 300 (+4 for correct, -1 for wrong). NEET: 200 questions — 50 from Physics, 50 Chemistry, 100 Biology. Total marks: 720.
Can I pause the test and resume later?
No. Once started, the timer cannot be paused — just like the real exam. If you exit the fullscreen 3 times, your test is auto-submitted. This is intentional to simulate real exam conditions and build your focus.
What is the anti-cheat system?
NES uses a multi-layer anti-cheat system: fullscreen enforcement (3 exits = auto-submit), tab switch detection, answer timing analysis, and a personal watermark on every question. This ensures your AIR and percentile are fair and meaningful.
Are the questions original or from previous years?
NES questions are freshly written by subject matter experts to match NTA difficulty levels. We do not reuse PYQ (Previous Year Questions) in our mock tests to ensure every student gets a genuine mock exam experience.
What if I miss a Sunday test?
Currently, tests are only available during their scheduled window. Missed tests cannot be attempted afterwards as that would invalidate the AIR calculation. We recommend setting a reminder every Sunday morning.
Can I review my answers after the test?
Yes! After results are published (every Sunday at 8:00 PM IST), you can view detailed question-by-question analysis with correct answers and solutions. This is available for all users, including free plan students.
🏆 Results & AIR 5 questions
When are results published?
Results are published every Sunday at 8:00 PM IST — approximately 2 hours after the last shift ends. You'll receive a notification on your dashboard and email when results are live.
How is the All India Rank (AIR) calculated?
AIR is calculated based on the NTA normalization formula across all NES students who appeared in the same test and shift. Students with the same score are ranked using NTA's tie-breaking rules (higher accuracy in specific subjects).
Is the NES percentile comparable to the real JEE percentile?
NES percentile gives a strong indication of your standing among serious JEE aspirants. Since NES students are self-motivated test-takers, the competition level is typically higher than the full JEE pool. So your real JEE percentile may be better than your NES percentile.
Can I get a PDF scorecard?
Yes! PDF scorecards are available for Pro plan users. The scorecard includes your score, percentile, AIR, subject-wise breakdown, and time analysis — formatted like an official NTA result sheet.
My result seems incorrect. What do I do?
If you believe there's an error in your result, contact us at [email protected] within 48 hours of result publication with your roll number and specific question details. We will review and correct if there's a genuine error.

⚙️ Technical 4 questions
Which browsers are supported?
NES works best on Google Chrome (recommended), Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. For the best exam experience, use Chrome on a laptop or desktop. Mobile browsers are supported but a laptop is strongly recommended for mock tests.
The test screen went blank / I got disconnected. What happens?
If you lose internet during a test, your answers are auto-saved every 30 seconds. You can re-login and resume from where you left off within the test window. If the test timer has expired, your last saved answers will be auto-submitted.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the login page, click "Forgot Password?" and enter your registered email. You'll receive a password reset link within 2 minutes. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.
Can I use NES on multiple devices?
Yes, you can log in from any device. However, you cannot take the same test simultaneously on two devices — only one active session per test is allowed to maintain test integrity.
